With No País Dos Outros, Porto/Post/Doc concludes the trilogy that began in 2024 with O Movimento dos Povos, dedicated to human displacement, forms of belonging, and the tensions between territory, identity and memory. This final programme explores what it means to live in a place that never fully recognises us. Through films such as Lo Capitano, Si Vas Para Chile, All Good Countrymen, Soy Cuba and The Double Life of Véronique, displacement emerges as an intimate, political and symbolic experience.

With a primary focus on documentary, the festival features, amongst other things, competitive programmes for features, short and medium-length films, a section dedicated to films about music, as well as a spotlight on the work of European female directors.

Between 19 and 28 November, the festival will also Porto Industry Days, featuring a range of initiatives for film industry professionals, talks, live podcasts and an immersive cinema programme at the Planetarium.
