Porto/Post/Doc
Between 20 and 29 November, Porto/Post/Doc will once again focus on the contemporary documentary scene. In the series O Tempo de Uma Viagem (The Time of a Journey), the act of departure is explored as a structural gesture of contemporary society, with five films that cross geographies and times, directed by Maciej Drygas, Hassan Fazil, Werner Herzog, among others. The programme also includes two authorial focuses on the work of Andrei Ujică and Lina Soualem.
The programme is rounded off with a diverse competition consisting of recently produced short, medium and feature-length films from Portugal and abroad, as well as a selection of films dedicated to music and popular culture. In parallel with the public programme, Porto/Post/Doc also includes an extensive programme dedicated to the film industry.
