Multiplex/Over and Out

Meg Stuart, a leading figure in contemporary dance, is Multiplex’s guest artist for 2026. A performer, choreographer and, more recently, filmmaker, her filmography explores the relationships between the body and landscape, social order and architecture.

At Batalha, a retrospective of her film work and a masterclass by the artist will be presented. The festival is organised by the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia at Lusófona University, in partnership with Batalha and Espaço Mira.

As part of the partnership with Lusófona University, the Cinema Centre will also host Over and Out, a programme showcasing the films of final-year students from the Bachelor’s degrees in Cinema (Lisbon) and in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia (Porto).
