Festa do Cinema Francês
In 2026, the French Film Festival will celebrate its 27th edition, inviting the public to explore the richness, diversity and vitality of Francophone cinema, whilst reaffirming its identity as a space for discovery, encounter and cultural dialogue.
As usual, the French Film Festival will tour the country, taking its programme to various cities from north to south between October and November. In each city, audiences will be able to discover the selection of films from the 27th edition through a network of partners and cultural venues which, year after year, help to make the Festival one of the key celebrations of Francophone cinema in Portugal.
In Porto, the French Film Festival kicks off on 9 October at the Batalha Centro de Cinema.
