The French Film Festival returns to Batalha to celebrate its 26th edition with a new image, new artistic direction and a revamped structure.

The Festival asserts itself as a platform for encounter and sharing between France, Portugal and the French-speaking world, celebrating the diversity, creative vitality and excellence of French cinema. With a programme that spans genres, generations and geographies, the festival is aimed at a wide and diverse audience.

This return to Batalha, with a special pre-opening screening, also represents the strengthening of an emotional and cultural connection with the city, at a time when the Festival is reinventing itself and looking to the future.

The 26th edition promises to be a lively space for discovery, artistic experimentation and cultural dialogue, where cinema is the starting point for conversations, encounters and new visions of the world.
