A Nebulosa
The 3rd edition of A Nebulosa — Open Course on 16mm Film reaches its conclusion at Batalha Centro de Cinema, with the screening of 11 short films made by the participants: Adriana Assunção, Diogo Maia, Joana Santos, Luísa Cortez, Marcelo Pereira, Pedro M. Afonso, Pedro Pereira, Rafaela Gomes, Ricardo Menezes, Rita Torres and Susana Fernando.
The initiative, organised by the production company Rua Escura, has been running since September 2025 and is led by André Gil Mata, Cláudia Ribeiro and Frederico Lobo. Throughout the course, experimentation and the development of a unique cinematic vision, free from dogma, were encouraged. Each participant was challenged to explore cinema as a language and to find their own path.
The result is the creation of a 16mm short film by each participant — films now presented in this screening.
The screening will be followed by a talk with Rua Escura and course participants. Free entrance upon ticket pickup on the same day. Limited to two tickets per person. More information at ruaescurafilmes.com
