Matías Piñeiro's second feature film follows a group of eight young people in a country house seemingly isolated from civilization. There, they make up stories, drink, sing songs, draw, rehearse plays, plan a robbery, and engage in charades. As in his debut film El Hombre Robado, the director draws on texts by Domingo Faustino Sarmiento — writer and seventh president of Argentina — to reflect on his country's history, but also to reveal the dynamics of power, intrigue, and mistrust that take hold within the group.
