Psalms Trust Vol. 3, Klein

Recognised for a practice that crosses music, video and performance, Klein has blurred the boundaries between fact and fiction. The Nigerian-British artist's work, which gravitates around urban mapping, surveillance, humour, hip-hop and identity, among others, has already been presented in various venues — from MoMA (New York) to the New Cross Inn (London). Thirteen sense (2025) and Marked (2024) are her most recent albums. The performance Psalms Trust Vol. 3 was curated by Batalha for the premiere of the programme Câmara Sónica.

Psalms Trust Vol. 3 is a vampire detective story within a sitcom in progress, written and directed by Klein. 

Blessing was a titular character who was a ex spac nation member/youtuber who was a vampire that became an extra in her own story.

In VOL 3, Josiane M.H. Pozi plays the investigator, live editing through the original fragmented film scenes directed by Klein from Psalms Trust Vol. 2 at New Theatre Hollywood. Whilst Klein plays an Amazon driver live scoring, pulling from the original play’s audio. Together, they unravel a haunted archive in this installation where sound, image, and memory bleed into each other.
