Pattern School of Thought + Ballet, Bianca Scout

Trained in contemporary and classical dance, Glasgow-based artist Bianca Scout presents Pattern School of Thought + Ballet, a multidisciplinary performance that combines music, movement, and storytelling. Through a performative PowerPoint presentation, the work explores the relationship between the body, image, and thought, creating an immersive experience where different artistic languages intersect. Part fictionalised talk show, part concert, part dance lecture, the evening unfolds in three episodes, weaving together old songs, new material, projected texts, and a few carefully demonstrated dance moves. Exploring the origins of the sacred tools, treasures and weapons; the mysterious phenomenon known as pattern damage; and the early theories of a hidden map. Joined onstage by special guest Elena Isolini, she will present, investigate, and gently unravel these themes in real time. Bring your notebook, your curiosity, and a talisman of your choice. 

Free entrance upon ticket pickup on the same day. Limited to two tickets per person.

On September 29, Bianca Scout and Elena Isolini (Daughter Mary) will conduct a free workshop. This workshop combines classical ballet technique with free and spontaneous movements, exploring scene construction and character study. No prior dance experience is required to participate.
