Paranoia Agent [Ep. 1–6]

Once again, Satoshi Kon teams up with Madhouse Studio, this time for his first and only television series. Over the course of 13 episodes, the city of Musashino is terrorized by a mysterious boy on roller skates who attacks residents with a golden baseball bat. As two detectives investigate the attacks, the connections between the victims become clear: people under intense pressure who are looking for a way to escape reality. Blurring the lines between mystery and the supernatural, Paranoia Agent paints a sharp portrait of anxiety and fear in contemporary society.
