Inspired by Don DeLillo's play The Word for Snow, and conceived as a poetic response to climate change, Mare's Nest unfolds in a parallel future, in a fragmented territory between landscapes in the United Kingdom and Spain — spaces that are both familiar and strangely displaced. In this world without adults, children live unsupervised, given free rein to imagine and create. Elements of the film are also presented in an installation in the Sala-Filme and in the Foyer of Sala 2, as part of the exhibition of the same name.
