Rita Barbosa graduated in Digital Arts from the Católica Portuguese University. Since then, she has embarked on a path that has cinema as its unifying axis, but which has extended to the stage through performance, scenography and video art.

Her first short film, À Noite Fazem-se Amigos, was premiered in Locarno, while her most recent work, 2.ª Pessoa, won the Best Short Film award at the Caminhos do Cinema Português Festival.

The film-performance Amigos Imaginários (2019), from which we present an excerpt as an encore, crosses different areas such as cinema, foley, scenography and performance.
