Shot on a 2008 Sony Ericsson W595, this film is a love story, a road movie, and an urban symphony, that blends tools from classic and silent cinema with 21st-century technology. It follows a young man who leaves his village to audition for a dance company in the city. There, he becomes involved in the world of illegal fighting and prostitution—and falls in love with a man. Yet is as much as the film is interested in this story, it is as interested in everything that happen around it, creating a cinema full of surprises. Let the Summer Never Come Again won the Grand Prize in the International Competition of FIDMarseille.
