Shot in Cinemascope in the Azores, this visionary film by F. J. Ossang plunges us into a post-atomic world, where the landscape is a metaphor for an end and a new beginning. An engineer working for the Kryo’Corp company disappears with a revolutionary discovery: a new source of energy. Ulysses, the heir to the company, organises an expedition to the only place where these new energy resources exist. The cast includes Portuguese actors José Wallenstein, Diogo Dória and Pedro Hestnes.
