Three friends in their 40s audition for a coveted role in the same film. During the director’s unconventional casting process, the boundaries between reality and imagination blur, and the three find themselves caught in a love triangle that challenges their roles both on screen and in life. As old memories resurface, the trio embarks on a fantastical journey into the past.
