This spaghetti western follows Sergei Kowalski (Franco Nero), a Polish mercenary hired to assist Mexican revolutionaries led by Paco Roman (Tony Musante). The alliance between them is as unstable as the political context itself, navigating betrayals, battles, and conflicting ideals. With biting humour, criticism of capitalist exploitation, and echoes of the Mexican Revolution, the film combines explosive action with sharp satire. It stands out for its stylised direction, arid and dusty settings, and Ennio Morricone's iconic soundtrack, which amplifies the tension and absurdity of war.
