Inspired by the Broadway musical of the same name, Hair is an anti-war comedy-drama set during the hippie counterculture of the 1960s. The film follows Claude, a young man from Oklahoma who travels to New York to enlist in the Vietnam War but, after meeting a group of hippies in Central Park, begins to question everything he once believed in. Amid music, psychedelic experiences, unconventional relationships, and resistance to military conscription, Claude plunges into a world marked by freedom, nonconformity, and social protest. Considered a cult classic, it has become a vibrant celebration of the pacifist spirit and the youth of that era.
