Eyewitness

After an argument with her husband over a reckless purchase, Lucy leaves home and wanders the streets until she reaches the local cinema. Inside the building, she unexpectedly encounters two individuals attempting to break into the cinema's safe. Panicked, she tries to escape, but in her haste, she is hit by a bus and taken to the hospital. The robbers follow her and wait for the right moment to silence the only witness to the crime. Eyewitness is the second feature film by Muriel Box, the most prolific British filmmaker ever, having directed 13 feature films between the 1950s and 1960s.
