Alma Viva

Inspired by her childhood, Cristèle Alves Meira's first feature film follows Salomé, a girl who spends her summers in her family's village in Trás-os-Montes. She has a deep connection with her grandmother, who is considered a witch. When her grandmother suddenly dies, Salomé begins to feel her spiritual presence. Between mourning, family conflicts, and mystery, summer becomes a rite of passage.
