1971 Shei Shob Din

To mark Bangladesh Victory Day (16 December), we present 1971 Shei Shob Din, a film programmed by the Bangladesh Community Association of Porto. The directorial debut of celebrated Bengali actress and playwright Hridi Haq, 1971 Shei Shob Din portrays the Liberation War through the experiences of one family. A hit with audiences in Baghdad, the film features veteran Ferdous Ahmed alongside Mamunur Rashid, Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Munmun Ahmed, Shilpi Sharkar Apu, Tareen Jahan, Litu Anam, Saju Khadem and Sanjida Preeti.
