WHAT IS IT?

BFF is an individual and non-transferable card giving the owner unlimited access to film screenings at Batalha Centro de Cinema, under the terms described below, in return for an annual or monthly payment during the desired period of membership.

The BFF card displays the owner’s first name and surname, a unique card number and the date of issue.

BFF benefits cannot be used in conjunction with any other card, discount or promotion at Batalha Centro do Cinema.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

On activation of the BFF card, the named owner can, at any time, request a ticket to access a film screening in Sala 1 or Sala 2 at Batalha Centro de Cinema (with the exception of film festival screenings and other programmes that will be duly identified).

The ticket may only be requested either the day before or on the day of the screening itself, online or at the Ticket Office.

Tickets are issued subject to availability of seats in the requested screening.

The card owner must present the BFF card, or its unique card number, when requesting a ticket, at the Ticket Office. Cinema staff may also ask to see the card on entry to the auditorium.

In the case of missing, stolen or damaged cards, the owner of the BFF card must communicate this as soon as possible by e-mail (batalha.bilheteira@agoraporto.pt) or telephone (225 073 308). A new card can be issued for a charge of 5€.

HOW DO I JOIN?

Registration for the BFF card can be completed at the Ticket Office or online at batalhacentrodecinema.pt. Payment and collection of the card must be carried out at the Ticket Office.

BFF card membership becomes valid on completion of this form and payment of the first annual or monthly payment.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The BFF card has two subscription options: monthly or annual.

Monthly subscriptions cost 13€ and are valid until the end of the month in which the payment is made, regardless of the exact date.

In the case of overdue monthly payments, the sum of these must be paid in one go in order to continue using the card during the current month. If payment is not made, the card will be considered invalid until 180 days have passed since the last payment, at which point the owner can reactivate their subscription by making a fresh monthly payment.

Annual subscriptions cost 117€ and are valid for a period of 365 days counting from the date of payment. For example, a subscription paid for on 9 December 2022 is valid until 8 December 2023.

The month of August is not included in either subscription type, even if there are activities programmed during that month.

ARE THERE DISCOUNTS?

For students and over 65 (inclusively), the cost of the BFF card is as follows: Monthly subscription — 10€; Annual subscription (365 days) — 90€.

Batalha Centro de Cinema may review the cost of the BFF card every year. Any changes will be announced at the Ticket Office and online, at batalhacentrodecinema.pt. Following the announcement of new rates, there will be a 60-day period during which existing members may renew at their current rate. All new members will be subject to the new rate immediately.

PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY POLICY

1.     The BFF card is a card promoted by Ágora – Cultura e Desporto, E.M. that provides special access to Batalha Centro de Cinema.

2.     Personal data collected during registration for the BFF card are used for the organisation and functioning of the programme, as well as for the sending of notifications relating to registration, changes in validity or cancellation of the card, and the sending of information relating to the actions promoted by the card, namely the sending of tickets in digital format.

3.     Personal data collected will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, with Ágora, as the Body Responsible for Data Processing, adopting technical and organisational measures, technologies and security protocols to protect personal data from unauthorised access, use or sharing.

4.     Personal data of BFF card holders will be shared with ETNAGA — Consultores Sistemas de Informação Lda — owner of the BOL platform (whose privacy policy can be consulted at https://www.bol.pt/Ajuda/PrivacidadeSeguranca), for the purpose of managing the BFF card, particularly for payment purposes, and issuing tickets.

5.     The individual owner of the data has the right at any time to request access, amendment, erasure or limitation of the processing of personal data. They are also entitled to withdraw consent, without compromising the legality of the processing already carried out on the basis of the consent previously given. The data collected will be kept for a period of 24 months from the date on which the card is no longer active
