Programme:
Divided into four parts, The Sun Quartet is a composition that portrays the climate of corruption and violence that dominates Mexican politics and militarism. Improvised music, superimposed cinematography cinematography, poetic texts and documentary scenes of protests are used to address recent recent issues, such as the disappearance of 43 students after a protest in Ayotzinapa, in September 2014, or more distant ones such as the Tlatelolco Massacre of 1968 - among other attacks and genocides that inhabit Mexico's collective memory.
