During the Covid-19 pandemic, filmmaker Alice Rohrwacher picked up a 16mm camera and some rolls of expired film as a means to explore her neighbourhood, observing places and people that her body was unable to approach. The resulting images that make up this short film, which is narrated by Rohrwacher herself, make us reflect on the notions of contemplation, contact and connection.
