An Unusual Summer

After someone vandalized his car, Kamal Aljafari's father installed a camera in front of his house. Following his death, Aljafari decides to make a film using these same images, which record the daily choreography of the city of Ramla, nicknamed the “ghetto.” An Unusual Summer intertwines the comings and goings of neighbors, family routines, and small everyday gestures, transforming them into a cinematic narrative and revealing the fleeting beauty of the simplest gestures.
