She Mad: Bitch Zone

She Mad is a multi-episode project that uses fragments of the sitcom format to explore how black identity is represented in the public imagination. In this episode, a counsellor at a week-long camp for teenage girls guides participants through a series of exercises that combine the language of female empowerment and body positivity with radical transparency. The session ends in an unexpected and unsettling collective confession.
