A pregnant woman dives into the Douro River, swims and gives birth to a baby girl. In her distress, she almost drowns. But another pregnant woman (or is it a goddess?) seems to take care of her. A film about sorority, the pleasure of being a woman and the creative joy of wanting to be a mother; about the river, the fluids, the blood that connects all women, the strength of the body and of love, music, dance, magic and miracles.
