Short Films from the 2026 Filmmaking Workshop + The Golden Ball

In this screening, we present the two short films produced during the Filmmaking Workshop: Cinema Around the Corner, led by Falcão Nhaga (filmmaker) in collaboration with Carolina Pinto (programmer and cinematographer). Over the course of two weeks, participants were invited to explore their memories of the places they call home. The streets, squares, and buildings around Batalha served as the backdrop for the unfolding of stories written and transposed into moving images through a collective and collaborative effort.
