In Nahuatl - also known as the Aztec language, spoken in what is now central Mexico - the word "teocalli" has several meanings, including "sacred place", "creative energy" and "divine", and also describes the pyramidal basement where temples are built. Curated by Batalha, this performance features João Pais Filipe, a drummer and percussionist, composer and sound sculptor from Porto, who will present an original sound composition for a selection of films by Los Ingrávidos.
